Milky Ways

The Milky Way provides a particular challenge. It must be captured on clear nights, quickly enough to avoid capturing the motion of the stars, while foreground subjects are lit as necessary with handheld sources. I have relished the challenge of capturing each individual sky as it really was in the time and space when I took the photo, rather than relying on photo editing to combine different nights and shots together.
