Lanceli
Lanceli, a light modifier for the Luxli Fiddle line, is a hexcell louver to hide the light source with a few improvements for photographers:
1 - Reduces the light beam to about 20 degrees and removes spill light.
2 - Fully hides the light source by overlapping the outside of the fixture.
3 - Decreases the intensity from the original output by about two stops.
Magnets hold it in place when on the fixture and the overlapping edges further reduce the chances of it being knocked off. This design was created with night photographers in mind who are looking for a very tight selective focus and a decrease in overall intensity to provide more of a whisper of light. Neutral density gel can also be added and captured fully by the edges for those who want even lower intensities over long exposures. Finished in a matte black PLA this reduces glare and reflections in images even when the fixure is carried through the shot.
This comes with a free Luxli Fiddle Switch Clip, designed to prevent the fixture from accidentally coming on while in your bag or pocket. Made from glow in the dark plastic so you can find it at night! This is still undergoing some tweaking from user input so the final one may be different from these images.
